Design, typesetting and illustration for Myriam Scotti’s new book. She is a Brazilian writer born and raised in Amazonas, in the North of Brazil, and her book is a collection of short stories about her birth state.
A digital collage of the most typical plants found in the Amazon forest was made as a guide for the final digital illustration on the cover.
The author asked for warm colors representing the hot and humid sunsets on the Amazon river. The bright orange and red for the sun and the sky were picked from the blouse the author wears on her bio picture.
